October 23, 2017 5:13 am

Twenty-one police officers from all four divisions in the country will undergo a five day training in investigative interviewing and the recording of caution interviews this week.

While opening the workshop today, Acting Commissioner of Police Isikeli Liagairi says this will assist local officers in their daily operations.

“This five day training will enable us to achieve one of our primary goals and that is to train all police personnel’s in the Fiji police with this new skill. Training in this area is very critical for us at this moment and time as we continue to observe the rights of people that are brought in either as suspects or witnesses to our police facilities.”
