2016 looking bright for Women in Business Fiji

Women in Business Fiji wrapped up its work for the year by hosting lunch yesterday for its members, associates and friends.

Women from all business sectors gathered to reflect and celebrate another successful year.

The organization has over 200 members.

WIB President Dr Nur Bano Ali says the organization has had a great year and 2016 is looking bright for them.

‘more progress and more recognition for more women in leadership roles and we’re working on various fronts, we’re working with the Ministry of Industry and Trade to establish a women in commerce seat in the Ministry and we’re working to get women on corporate boards and we are training them, so we are going to get bigger and better’.

The lunch was also a platform to promote the Women in Business upcoming annual awards night in March 2016, with the registration and nomination period now open.
