The 2015 Hibiscus Festival has kicked off with focus on Queen’s research topic in Suva this afternoon.

The fifteen queen’s vying for this year’s Hibiscus title, today presented their research topic, which ranged from unemployment, human rights, fashion, domestic violence and others.

Hibiscus Events Group Public Relations officer – Liga Gukisuva says the public will get a chance to see the queens during the opening march tomorrow morning.

‘’Tomorrow we have the opening march from eleven o’clock at the Flea market. Members of the public if you want to be part of that, be at the Flea market to watch and see the appearance of the contestants for the formal opening of the Hibiscus Festival’’.

The 2015 Hibiscus Festival is held at the Suva foreshore.
