2015 Expo collects more than three hundred thousand dollars

The 2015 Fiji National Women’s Expo was able to collect more than three hundred thousand.

The three-day event provided a platform for five hundred and seventy women to expose their skills and talent.

Minister for Women Rosy Akbar says the ministry will make 2016 event even better.

“If we take this to another level next year hopefully we should get a better return on our investment, it’s a very good return on the investment that we made. Apart from the monetary gains the women took back their capacity building workshop and all the events that were centred. Around the expo allowed women go back home economically empowered.”

The National Women’s’ Expo has become one of the biggest events promoting female entrepreneurship and commerce and is set to grow from strength to strength.
