The 2012 Vodafone Fiji Hibiscus has been hailed a success.

Hibiscus Events Group chair Hirdesh Lal says they have received positive response from all stakeholders.

“Everybody who spoke about Hibiscus spoke highly about Hibiscus and there were a lot of people that came to the Grounds. We spoke with the people who operated ferry’s wheel they earned a lot of money because of the crowd. They had to stop selling tickets at night so that the crowd could move away. And the food stall owners also made a lot of money. So basically everybody enjoyed.”

The event ended last Saturday without any major incidences.
