More than two hundred jobs are expected to be created when the Garden City mall along Grantham road in Raiwai, Suva opens later this year.

Owner, Yee Wah Sing says the redevelopment work started in October 2016 and majority of the work has been completed.

He adds that they have engaged local contractors for this project and seventy workers are currently involved in the construction phase.

“There are actually no outside contractors involved, we are doing this building on a self-built basis with the support of my architects, structural engineers.”

The complex will have sixty-five shops including convenience stores, food courts and commercial businesses as well as a trade and exhibition center.
