The Ambassador says the offering of this assistance follows the Police Commissioner’s recent visit to China.

Bo says the Police cooperation between the two nations has grown immensely over the last ten years, as both forces are working together on a number of fronts.

He also adds military assistance from China to Fiji is the biggest in comparison to the combination of assistance provided by other countries to Fiji.

The Ambassador also highlighted that the Chinese government donated 200 vehicles to the Fijian government earlier this year of which 50 were handed over to the Police Force, 30 for school buses and 30 to be used for ambulance services.
