20 Fijians farewelled for seasonal work

Twenty Fijians were farewelled this week as they headed to New Zealand for seasonal work.

Of the twenty, sixteen are returning workers while four were selected for the first time through the National Employment Centre.

The Employment Ministry says five workers have also been selected and recruited for the first time by Gourmet Summer Fruit Limited in Roxburgh, New Zealand.

These workers will depart today and will be working for four months, engaged in picking cherries and berries.
