Over one hundred and seventy people will soon own a residential lot each in Matavolivoli, Nadi.
Local Government and Housing Minister, Parveen Bala, says the land development at Matavolivoli has been completed and customers will soon receive their offer letters from the Housing Authority.
This is one of the many projects the Authority was working on, in an effort to provide affordable housing to Fijians.
Bala says these 172 customers have qualified to purchase land in Matavolivoli and will be able to build their own homes in no time.
In a similar effort, 113 customers who have qualified to purchase residential lots in Tacirua subdivision were presented with offer letters last week.
Bala says the Government has done a lot in providing affordable housing solutions to the low and middle-income families and they will continue to do so in the near future.
