A 15-year-old student who allegedly stole from a house in Suva is now in police custody.

The student has been charged with one count of burglary and one count of theft.

It’s alleged the young accused an accomplice entered a house in Raiwaqa on Saturday morning and stole items including home appliances, valued at more than $500.

The alleged theft was reported by the owner of the house to Police, who had a CCTV camera installed on his mobile phone.

The student will appear at the Suva magistrate’s court this afternoon.
