Fourteen U.S Embassy observers working in three of Fiji’s four Divisions are expected to assist the Multinational Observer Group in its important mission of witnessing and assessing Fiji’s historic election.

In a statement released today by the U.S Embassy in Fiji, it says that it is committed to supporting the election and therefore proud to be participating in and contributing observers to the MOG for Fiji’s 2018 General Election.

Embassy staff members will join observers from numerous other countries to bolster the credibility of the electoral process.

Following the conclusion of this election, the United States looks forward to working with the elected government of Fiji.
