Fiji Airways has confirmed that 13 passengers on the Nadi-Los Angeles flight FJ810 which arrived in Los Angeles about four hours ago reported being sick.

The Airline says at this stage it’s working to ascertain the cause.

In a statement, the airline says all it knows at this stage is that the 13 were part of two groups traveling together and stayed at the same resort.

They were checked and attended to by paramedics upon arrival at the Los Angeles Airport.

One has been sent to the hospital for further checks and the remaining 12 have refused further medical attention.

All other remaining passengers on the flight have been cleared and released.
