Registered nurses positions that have been advertised are currently being process.

Health Minister Rosy Akbar says this will be completed in the next two weeks.
Akbar says intern nurses working at CWM Hospital who applied for the positions will also be offered contracts if they get selected through the process.

“The contracts of the interns will be extended for three months from 31st of July this is when their contract will expire to ensure that we do not disadvantage any of our intern nurses while the selection process, the appeals process and the issuing of contracts to successful candidates takes place.”

Meanwhile the ministry has received around 300 applications for the 120 posts that were advertised.
