The artwork of 12 primary school students will be showcased at the Colgate Bright Smile regional competition.

Depicting the theme ‘Why my bright smile is important’ the works of art have been selected by judges based on their originality, creativity and depiction of the theme.

Colgate Palmolive General Manager Jarod Parker says although it’s a cash prize competition, it’s also to remind people of the need for oral hygiene.

The regional competition will be held in August in Australia and the winner will then represent the Pacific at the global competition later in the year.
