Over 100 complaints have been received by the Fijian Competition and Consumer Commission in relation to the Lagilagi Housing project.
The Government had ordered FCCC to carry out investigation into the affairs of People’s Community Network following complaints on unsatisfactory delivery of the project.
Chief Executive Joel Abraham says they continue to receive complaints in relation to the Lagilagi Housing project.
“Complaints are from current residence of the Lagilagi Housing project, from the people currently staying at Jittu and people who are not staying at Jittu maybe as far as Makoi, I personally received a complaint from Lautoka from someone who had applied at Lagilagi.”
PCN was given $12.7 million by the Government for the project, however, work was not delivered as promised.
