“I have assured the Commissioner that I will ask the National Employment Center department to cover for that particular day so that you can take advantage of the programs that we have and there are two programs that we currently have, one is the seasonal worker’s program and the other is the Pacific Labour Scheme. A seasonal work program is for 7 to 8 months in New Zealand and Australia and the Pacific Labour scheme is for 3 years and I hope you will take advantage of that program during that day.”

He also announced that the expo will be held at the Waterfront Tanoa Hotel in Lautoka on the 15th of next month.

The expo will showcase the offenders who will be released soon but while incarcerated have gained work experience and skill set.
