A 22 year old man is believed to have committed suicide after allegedly attempting to mow down his high school girlfriend.
The deceased is alleged to have abducted his girlfriend from Valelevu in Nasinu yesterday and was driving her through Colo-i-Suva when she is believed to have escaped by jumping out his moving vehicle.
It’s alleged that the deceased then chased his 17 year old girlfriend in his car and deliberately bumped into her.
The high school student managed to get herself to the Dokanaisuva Community Post in Colo-I-Suva.
Police later found the deceased in his car after he hit a FEA post. It’s believed he attempted to take his life.
He was rushed to the Suva Hospital where he died in the Intensive Care Unit this morning.
The 17 year old girl remains admitted in the ICU.
