Works on the second project of the Namaka market is now underway.

The Namaka Market Master says this is part of the $4.79million project with the first phase already being completed.

Once completed, the Namaka market will be able to accommodate more than 300 vendors.

Vendors that were based at the old site have moved into the new market.

Meanwhile, issues raised by the Namaka market vendors like parking and space will now be looked at by the Municipal Council.

Special Administrator Robin Ali says these issues will be resolved however called on the vendors to be patient.
