“Once we have that transmission up and running then we will be able to branch it out to places like Lagalaga, Labasa. This will also be branched out to Tabia and Wailevu and also to the Dreketi corridor.”

Lal adds major expansion on 4G+ network coverage is currently underway in Seaqaqa to Nabouwalu corridor and people in areas like Nabouwalu and greater Bua and Nasawaqa areas will have access to 4G+ internet services.

Lal says $60 million is set aside for providing high-speed internet services in the rural and remote areas including islands.
