Vodafone Fiji marked its twenty-fifth birthday this morning, paying tribute to pre-pay customers who’ve been with the company for 2 decades.
Twenty-five customers from all over Fiji were brought to Vodafone Headquarters in Suva for celebrations. They are some of the first ever to use Vodafone’s pre-pay services in 1999.
Vodafone Chief Commercial Officer Rajnesh Prasad says the mobile telecommunications company is setting itself up to roll out 5G in the near future.
“Our contribution to the modernization and economic development of the country has led to what is now a highly connected society. The network evolution has seen up upgrade from 2G, 3G, 3.5G, 4G, and 4GPlus.”
Prasad adds Vodafone Fiji is preparing itself for 5G technology with the necessary groundwork already underway.
