Fong says for Fiji, the question is determining the quality, cost and speed of internet broadband which is something that will be achieved during the PITA conference.

“In this case is what operators do is they share their experiences with each other and obviously things you do right others can learn from it and things you’ve done wrong obviously those are the mistakes not to be repeated by someone else and they can benefit from it quite significantly.”

Telecommunication organizations from New Zealand, China, UK, Samoa, PNG and France are currently present at the conference.

The PITA conference ends on Wednesday.
