Tax agents are looking forward to the Taxpayer Online Services portal after training with the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS).

FRCS Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Visvanath Das says the training will upskill Tax agents before the online Tax system goes live – ensuring they are well versed with the system.

Tax agents are working closely with FRCS to ensure the framework and system is functional in a practical and efficient way.

Jerome Kado from PriceWaterhouseCoopers says the training is vital for Tax agents as we move into the future and adopt the latest technology.

The online portal is a self-service platform that makes it easy for taxpayers to engage with FRCS and access the wide range of tax services in a more convenient way.

These include applications to register for a tax identification number (TIN), joint ID card, tax clearance certificates, filing tax returns and debt arrangements.
