Suva Retailers Association President Vinay Kumar

The Suva Retailers Association has major plans in place this year for customers who use services provided in the Suva’s Central Business District.

Association President, Vinay Kumar says these plans include more shopping hours, better shopping services and ensuring the safety of consumers.

“We have extensive plans of Suva on Sale we have plans for late night shopping, as we know the road works has been going on that is bit an issues for us to have Suva on Sale, things like that we want to have the lighting improved in town so that we can have one month, we are planning that hopes so it works out.
Kumar says they are also working with relevant stakeholders to address car parking issues as there is an influx in the number of cars in the country.”

He adds they’re collaborating with the new local government minister and the Suva City Council to ensure they provide the best to their consumers.

More than 120 retailers are currently part of the Suva Retailers Association.
