The Fiji National Provident Fund has confirmed that from next year children will also be able to become the members.

“Well of course the biggest advantage is members can children can start saving even before they work, because FNPF is really a scheme for workers but now members who are young, children who are young can start becoming a member earlier.”

Koroi says this will be beneficial for the children’s future.
