REALB’s Chair, Abdul Hassan

The Real Estate Agents Licensing Board will introduce exams for its key players involved in the real estate sector.

The exams will be for agents, salesperson and branch managers.

REALB’s Chair, Abdul Hassan says the Board has discovered that many agents lack the right qualification to work in the real estate sector.

It’s been found that agents are not following the law due to poor knowledge about the sector.

“The main problem that we are facing is that agents lack education. As you know if you do not have proper education then you don’t realize the consequences of breaking the rules.”

Hassan adds some agents are not even following the law.
