FNU to showcase innovations at FBC Tech Trade Show

The Fiji National University aims to attract more female students into its technology courses through the FBC Tech Trade Show.

FNU Vice Chancellor, Nigel Healey says the show will provide an opportunity for the institution to showcase some of its innovations in science and technology.

Healey says they’re also trying to portray the significance of enrolling in mathematics and science courses.

“One of the main things we will be showcasing is our students’ work, so Bachelor of Engineering students, our honors students will do projects where they have to do big engineering projects to develop robots, machine learning. They will be putting that on display.”

The FBC Trade Tech Show will be held from the 27th to 30th June at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.
