MV Ohana

Interlink Shipping Services is overwhelmed with the response from the public regarding the improved shipping services by their new vessel MV Ohana.

Interlink Shipping Director Ashish Kumar says the MV Ohana travels at a faster speed and can make what would normally be four hour trip to Nabouwalu is now less than three hours.

Kumar adds that this is for the convenience of travellers that includes business people and tourists.

“The reason why we chose Ohana was only for one major reason for the speed. How currently it is being operated it has to move to the next level now. I think we are all like waiting for that. 5,4-5 hours travelling between the islands I think its quite a lot. It should be under 3 hours definitely.”

Interlink Shipping Services has three ships that include MV Westerland, MV Queen of Melbourne and the MV Ohana that service the Natovi to Nabouwalu route.
