Datec Fiji has partnered with VMWare, a company from the United States to provide better connectivity to Fijians.

VMware Australia’s Chief Technologist and Solution Engineering Manager Simon Caruso says they deliver a range of solutions.

Caruso says they are working on ways to modernize the data centres in Fiji.

“What we are doing is giving the capability to users to be able to build their private data center, to have cloud-like capabilities, to be able to be agile and governance with security and to be able to extend that native public cloud as well.”

He says cloud-based solutions and platforms can also be provided and businesses can benefit from this as well.

VMware is a publicly-traded software company listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
