The Sugar Ministry is urging farmers to attend the public consultation organized for them to present their views on way forward.

Ministry’s director for Policy and Research, Reshmi Kumari says the consultation started at the Penang Mill in Rakiraki last Monday where they met with farmers from seven sectors.

Kumari says the turnout has been good and says no one should miss out on the opportunity to raise their concerns with the ministry.
